Happy Father’s Day, from Dadsense

So many milestones, so many questions, so much to be thankful for; it has been an incredible year.  As Father’s Day approaches my wife is asking what I want, but to be honest I have everything I could ever hope for.  It is hard not to get emotional looking back to July 2016 and every day since.  From the birth to T’s first diaper change, to putting him down for his most recent nap – every moment has been a blessing.

I don’t need to be pampered for Father’s Day, but Pampers wants to honour dads for all we do to help our little ones have a better, loving, more fulfilling life – big and small.  They want to give thanks to our little ones for making us feel special and empowering us to discover this new roll in our lives: Fatherhood.

I’d like to say #thanksbaby for:

  • Late night cuddles – People without children would think that waking up at 2 AM is a nightmare, but getting settled in on the recliner with you in my arms is the highlight of my day.  Err, night.
  • Smiles – How are you so adorable?  That moment when I get home from work and T sees me for the first time? I’d do anything for that smile.
  • Teaching me – This time last year I had NO IDEA what was coming.  I still don’t, but somehow you have held my hand through every cry, every stumble, every meal prep.  I like to think that even when you start asking questions about the world around you, you will be teaching me more than I am teaching you.
  • Making me a father – I couldn’t have done any of this without you.  When you were born, a part of me was born as well.

I’d also like to thank Pampers, our go-to brand since day one.  For 50 years Pampers has been trusted by dads to care for their babies.  From Premie to Pull-ups, they’ve got your little one covered (get it?) with protection and comfort at every stage.  Be sure to check out Pampers.com to learn more about their full line of products.

Disclosure:  I have partnered with Life of Dad and Pampers for this promotion.  While I was compensated, all opinions are my own.
